The focus of Orbis Education is to ensure a better future for healthcare today by graduating the workforce of tomorrow.
The ripple effect of our determination to provide the best healthcare education with our partner programs across the United States is demonstrated by the number of positions our healthcare partners have filled with our graduates. However, we are always aiming for new ways to better serve the education system below University level students. That’s where our team decided to get creative.

Thanks to the ingenuity and collaboration of employees at Orbis Education’s corporate location in Indianapolis, IN, hundreds of students’ educations have been improved with the donation of computers. With the support of the instructional team, Orbis was able to put together a donation of 300 Chromebooks to the Legacy Christian School (LCS) in Noblesville, IN.
Educating the children of today is the first step in ensuring the future of America’s universities. LCS has been teaching students in Hamilton Country for over 25 years. In addition to offering a premium education from preschool all the way through high school, LCS focuses its mission on serving others through Christ. Orbis Education is proud to support this mission and the growth of the LCS student base by providing a sustainable solution to their need for computers.
In order to best serve our partner programs, Orbis is dedicated to providing the best, most up-to-date technology for our employees. That means computers reach their “end of life” period quicker than personal computers and devices. However, there is still a long life for these machines after this period of time if they’re given a little TLC. And so, after collecting equipment at Orbis Education corporate, the work began. Our instructional team worked tirelessly and was able to refurbish hundreds of Chromebook laptops. This work gave these computers a second life to educate children in the greater Indianapolis area while also reducing waste. Congratulations to all of the team that was involved in the coordination of this donation!
The timing of our contribution made a huge impact as LCS is experiencing record enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year. To accommodate the growth of their school, LCS underwent major renovations in 2021 to add classrooms and expanded classes in their Middle and Elementary schools.
